Amazing how these weeks stack up.
This weekend, I’ve started playing Skyrim. So next week’s workblog might… be a little thin.
As it is, this week’s been filled with thrills and excitement. Dangerous Jade, my novella, is looking on track for the moment, and developments relating to the art for that’s been absolutely thrilling. More on Dangerous Jade and all involved when there’s a bit more to show, but I’m excited, and that means you should be excited too.
In other peripheral work, a very short script I put together as an experiment a week or two has been part of AmonOmega’s experimentations as of late, and now I’m hopeful about that, too. So hopeful, in fact, I’ve been sending out various other pitches, most of which are coming back to me with positive noises attached to them.
On the novel front, things aren’t going great, but progress is steady, and steady is good. Finished off another lengthy chapter/scene just before the weekend, and hoping that (assuming Skyrim doesn’t eat all my attention) Monday and a new scene will give extremely positive results.
(And I still have to check guides on naval lingo/architecture about every five minutes. Can I just sink all the ships in my book, please?)
