In some other news about things that are going on:
- Things are hopefully entering the final phases for a somewhat more mainstream SF novella which I will hopefully be able to talk about soon. (For now, I will say that the International Space Station and a plague are involved. Yummy.)
- I’m currently in the middle of a brainstorming/outlining/plotting spree on a novel concept related to War Dog/Marginalized Populations, and some of the older City Mouse stories I put online some years ago. So far it seems to be going fairly well, and I’ve got my fingers crossed that something useful is going to emerge out of the notes I’m making right now.
- Recently went to one of the LondonFurs meets. May well be trying that again in the near future, it was rather like the ‘hanging out in a lobby between panels’ portion of a con.
- Got ahold of ‘Shadowrun Returns’ yesterday. Fun little RPG, quite retro, but what interests me about it is the map/campaign/storyline editor… I’ll have to look into how difficult that is to use. Hopefully it won’t impact my productivity, much.
- I’ve been experimenting with Tumblr!
